Flax seed oil is not as good as fish oil (fish oil has both EPA and DHA, flax seed oil doesn't).
Good ONE-A-DAY ones with IFOS 5 star ratings
Make sure you go to IFOS to ensure 5 star ratings. The stuff you buy has to be of a certain batch with certain expiry date (older batches from the same company may be of poorer quality).

EPA/DHA contents are the key. Upto 1gm of EPA/DHA combined gives you the most benefit, although higher dosage needs to be checked by a doctor. Most store varities have a low content of EPA/DHA!! Also, other impurities need to be checked (FDA does not do a thorough checking so you must refer to IFOS for this critical information)
My favorites are:
(1) Coromega liquid packets are some of the purest and most effective. Each packet has EPA/DHA of 350/230 i.e. in each serving packet, you get 580mg of EPA/DHA combined at a price of, get this, $.19 if you SUBSCRIBE (no fee, free ship, cancel anytime) from Amazon.com!!!
(2) From RenewLife, Super Critical Omega gives you 930mg of EPA/DHA combined per gel!! Also, each gel has 1000IU of vitamin D!!
All this can be had for $.76 if you buy 60 gel bottle from Amazon. A great buy, considering the potency, purity (highly recommended at IFOS although you need to check constantly) and vitamin D. Compared to Coromega, you are paying 4 times more to get less than twice as many EPA/DHA though.
